World 24 Hrs Championships 2019 Cancelled

Details
Last Updated: 29 August 2018

Following the announcement by the IAU of the cancellation of the World 24 Hrs Championships 2019 in Austria, we received many inquiries about the selection for the next World 24 Hrs.

As announced, the IAU is working hard to find another venue interested in hosting the 2019 Championships.

The selection process will remain the same, qualifying standards accepted will be for the previous 2 years before the Championships and up to 3 months prior to the date of the current Championships.

For example if a venue is found for October 2019, the selection will be based on 2017, 2018 and up to Jul 1st 2019 (3 months before Oct)

Hopefully we will have the announcement before the new year.

Yours in sport

Armand
