National Championships Series Standings System (Prior to 2023)
Ultra Series Points for ACU Members
ACU members must compete in Canadian Championship Events (listed on Race Calendar) to be eligible for the female or male series awards.
Ultra Series Points will be allocated based upon the following:
Categories
- All men up to and including age 39.
- All men from and including age 40 and up to and including age 49.
- All men 50 years and up.
- All women up to and including age 39.
- All women from and including age 40 and up to and including age 49.
- All women 50 years and up.
Qualification for categories 2, 3, 5, and 6 is based on the entrant's age as of July 31st of the applicable year.
- Membership in the ACU is required as of Jan 1st, of the applicable year, to qualify for inclusion in the series.
- Points are based on placing in the whole race not just within the ACU runners.
- At the end of the last race of the season we will crown one National Series Champion, of each sex, based upon the total points of the Championship Series. Please see the Race Calendar link for the races in the series. Point totals can be seen on the Current Rankings page.
