ATTENTION RACE DIRECTORS
2012 has come and gone, what a year it has been. Exiting events, outstanding performances, new records and a steady growth of participants. All this can be attributed to the hard work and dedication of our race directors and their teams of volunteers, without them ultrarunning would not be where it is today.
2013 is fast approaching and it is now time to put together the National Championships Series calendar for next year.
The Series calendar has been created on the ACU website and we will be adding to it as your events are confirmed to be the National Championships or as part of the Series.
A reminder that we are looking at having a National Championshhip for each distance, 50K, 50M, 100K, 100M, 6 Hrs, 12 Hrs, 24 Hrs, 48 Hrs. All additional events can be added as part of the Series.
Ideally, an IAU Bronze lable should be obtained for your event, which would attract more athletes looking at qualifying for their National Teams.
